Welcome to Fleetwood Kite Club Fleetwood Kite Club is a not for profit club run by volunteers. We hold regular meetings once every 2 weeks at Fleetwood Marine Beach where we teach people how to use power kites, buggies & landboards. The club is open to young and old of all abillities and is friendly and welcoming.  Hi There,
As you may know Fleetwood Kite Club have been looking at changing affiliation, well we have looked at The British Kite Surfing Association (BKSA) and they seem to be very proactive within the sport pushing both kite surfing and land kiting to new levels. This year they have introduced 3 Land events at three of their national competitions, Swansea, Blackpool and Redcar....anyway we have completed the affiliation paperwork recently and it is currently being assessed by the BKSA brokers and as soon as we hear we'll let you know. Hence this meaning we can insure with the BKSA and join FKC at the same time. Although there is a financial increase with this insurance to the members the positives for the club are huge. We feel we are really moving things forward for the sport and our kiting community. Please help support FKC. Finally to the non kite fliers that are associated with the club, I know there are quite few. We have decided that everyone should be able to join the club and if you would like to join please send a donation of £5 to Phil Gibson of 80 North Albert Street, Fleetwood, FY7 6BJ with your name and address along with E mail address and contact number.
